Here's the old interior and the car as it came from the upholstery shop

The photo below shows the car in 1983, when I bought it.  It had an original interior, with the exception of the
early 70's Chevy seat fabric.  Jack Davis owner of Generations Upholstery, in San Jose, did the new interior in
a combination of leather and Mercedes vinyl.  Generations is a place where quality is still the most important product.
Jack, I love the work you, Gene, and Juan did for me.  Buying from Matt at Re-Originals was also a pleasure.  He's got
all the hard-to-find big and little trim pieces.  I could not find a good original dash anywhere, so Jack reinforced the
old one with fiberglass and upholstered it with leather.  Must say, the original fake wood cardboard never looked
as good as the leather does now.

Left is the semi-original upholstery. Below is the new.
Note the original equipment steering wheel lock below the wheel.
